Your Framer project files are processed securely and are not stored longer than necessary to complete the conversion. Generated code files are available for download for a limited time and then automatically deleted.

Browser Extension Privacy (ConvertFramer Chrome Extension)

The ConvertFramer Chrome Extension is designed to extract layout, structure, and styles from the currently active Framer project page only when explicitly initiated by the user.

Data processed by the extension includes:

• Website content from the active Framer project page (such as layout structure, styles, and component hierarchy)
• Temporary internal state required to manage the extraction process

What the extension does NOT collect:

• Personal identifiable information
• Authentication credentials
• Browsing history outside of Framer
• User activity such as keystrokes, mouse movements, or tracking data
• Data from other tabs or websites

Local storage

The extension uses browser local storage solely to store a short-lived internal flag indicating whether an extraction is currently in progress. This data is non-personal, automatically cleared after a short timeout, and is never shared or synced.

Data transfer

When a user initiates a conversion, the ConvertFramer Chrome Extension extracts design data from the active Framer project page and packages it into a locally generated .cfp file. The file is created entirely within the user’s browser and downloaded directly to the user’s device. No data is transmitted from the extension to ConvertFramer servers, and no network requests or API calls are made by the extension during this process.

User control

All extension actions are user-initiated. The extension runs only on Framer project pages and does not operate in the background or on unrelated websites.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
